Welcome to our school

I would like to warmly welcome you to Thameside Primary School. I feel extremely privileged and proud to work with such a caring, dedicated and passionate team of staff and our wonderful children. Thameside is a very special place where adults and children learn together, work hard, have fun and strive for their very best - we know that every moment counts. 

We pride ourselves in providing a caring and friendly environment where it is possible to know all our children and their families and where kindness underpins all that we do.  As a school family, we believe that every child is different, and yet equally important and valued. This ethos is almost tangible and can be felt as soon as you walk into our building and the classrooms.

Through our school motto of 'every child, every chance, every day', we aim to nurture happy, confident children with enquiring minds who learn to succeed and to contribute positively to their class, their school environment and the wider community. We believe that actively engaging with parents; local schools and the wider community is key in supporting our children to develop the understanding, skills and compassion to become positive role models for future generations, and to achieve their potential.
