Behaviour and attitudes
It is a primary aim of Thameside Primary School that every member of the school community feels valued, cared for and respected, and that each person is treated fairly and well and nurtured to be the best that they can be.
We are a caring community, whose values are built on mutual trust and respect for all.
The school’s behaviour procedures are therefore designed to support the way in which all members of the school can work together in a supportive way. They aim to promote an environment in which everyone feels happy, safe and secure.
All adults, parents and members of the school staff have a responsibility towards the emotional and social development of all pupils and in the positive reinforcement of a child’s achievements.
Our behaviour policy can be found on our policies page; our internal behaviour systems were reviewed in September 22 and can be found below:
Based on feedback from our pupils and as an example of the key role that pupil voice plays in our school development, in January 2023, we further revised our 'school rules' to include 'show kindness' as a key driver for all we do at Thameside.
